This very special Shropshire holiday cottage near Clun has been awarded the top 5 Star + Gold accolade for the 21st year in a row.

The Michelin starred “Walton’s of Walton Street”, Chelsea, London was his first and flagship restaurant. A favourite with members of the British and other Royal families, politicians, film, theatre and literary celebrities, it achieved worldwide fame.
The personal attention which he has given to his “baby” “The Dick Turpin Cottage” has ensured that since he opened it as a holiday cottage it has maintained top 5 Star + Gold status from the Quality in Tourism Authority for Visit Britain for a record 21 years.
The award in 1996 was called 5 Keys Deluxe and later renamed 5 Star.
